Radiofrequency Lesioning
Radiofrequency Lesioning for chronic neck, upper and lower back pain uses radiofrequency energy (heat) to disrupt nerve function. When RFA is performed to a medial branch or sacroiliac branch nerve, the nerve can no longer transmit pain from the injured facet joint.
